Congratulations going out to D Garage for winning the poll in the July 2008 HOTM contest :thumbup:

Simple, incredibly clean and loaded with power takes the win home this month. Sleek looking with and even cleaner engine bay packing 400+whp definitely deserves its place in the HOTM hall of fame.

ClubEG6: When did you first get the car?
D Garage: I got the car back in October 05. I picked it up about two weeks after I crashed my other 93 Si.

ClubEG6: Exactly what model do you have? ( year, color, model, USDM/JDM/EDM/AUDM )
D Garage: 1993, Black, Civic Si, USDM

ClubEG6: What were your initial plans for it and have they changed?
D Garage: My initial plans were to swap over some parts from my old car and build a 2.0 liter NA b-series track/ daily driver. I ended up selling most of the parts from my old car and even though I did have a fully built NA motor in my car it wasn't fast enough for me so I swapped in a stock ls motor which I then boosted and drove while I was building up my GSR motor.

ClubEG6: Do you have another car or is this your only one? And is it a daily driver?
D Garage: I also own a black 00 Civic Si which has a built NA B-Series motor. My daily driver is a 94 bone stock four door integra ls. My hatch is definately not a daily driver. Even though it does get 40+ mpg I just can't leave it parked anywhere without worrying about it getting stolen.

ClubEG6: Do you plan on doing any other upgrades or changes to anything? If so, what?
D Garage: I still have a lot of plans for this car. I'm even working on a few things for it right now. It will be getting a brand new engine/ turbo setup, full repaint, new wheels, and a lot of other lil things. I am one of those people that never likes to leave the car how it is for very long.

ClubEG6: Do you ever work on the car yourself? If so, what have you done?
D Garage: I do all the work on the car myself. Including paint, welding, engine building, wiring and everything in between.

ClubEG6: Is there something that you ever did to the car that you wish you didn't?
D Garage: I pretty much made the mistakes on my earlier cars so I knew what I wanted for this car.

ClubEG6: How long have you been a member here at ClubEG6?
D Garage: I have only been a member for about a month.

ClubEG6: Were you suprised that you won HOTM?
D Garage: I was pretty suprised I got nominated. There are a lot of really clean EG's on this forum.

ClubEG6: Is there anything you would like to say in conclusion or a shout out to anyone?
D Garage: I would like to thank everyone that voted for my car. I have a love for EG's and this definately won't be the last EG I build. I plan on building a track-only EG for next year and someday I want to own a real SiR-S and use it as my daily.
